Order on Board 12.02.2025 1) The petitioner has filed this petition seeking the following relief(s):-
“10.1. That the Hon’ble Court may be pleased to command the respondents to place all the records in connection with this case before the Hon’ble Court for perusal.
10.2. That the Hon’ble Court may be pleased to direct the respondent No.1 to 8 to remove the high tension lines from the populated area, update low tension lines and remove illegal connections taken by the residents within the Municipal Corporation area.
10.3. Such other direction as the Hon’ble Court deems in the circumstances of the case be issued to the respondent authorities.” 2) Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the respondents-CSPDCL have erected high tension line over the residential house of the petitioner. He would further submit that various applications have been moved before the respondents for maintenance of those lines but no action has been taken. He would also submit that the petitioner has not paid proper compensation. 3) On the other hand, learned counsel appearing for the respondents would
-3- oppose the submission made by counsel for the petitioner. 4) Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the documents. 5) Taking into consideration the provisions of Sections 10 & 16 of the Indian Telegraph Act, 1885, the petitioner may approach the appropriate authority for redressal of his grievance with regard to the proper compensation. 6) With regard to the complaints made by the petitioner for proper care and maintenance of high tension lines, respondents No.2 to 7 are directed to look into the matter. Respondents No.2 to 7 are further directed to pass appropriate order on application/representation made by the petitioner preferably within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 7) With the aforesaid observation and direction, this petition is hereby
