The petitioners have filed the instant petition under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 seeking quashing of FIR No.196 dated 28.09.2023 registered under Sections 498-A & 406 of Indian Penal Code, 1860 at Police Station City Gurdaspur, District Gurdaspur qua the petitioners. 2. On receipt of advance copy of the petition, Mr. Anup Singh, A.A.G., Punjab has put in appearance on behalf of respondent No.1-State and on instructions from ASI Ranbir Singh, submits that in the present case final report under Section 173 of Cr.P.C. has been filed and the same is neither attached with the present petition nor impugned herein. 3. Faced with this situation, learned counsel for the petitioners wishes to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file fresh one on the same cause of action with better particulars by impugning the final report under Section 173 of Cr.P.C. as well. 4.
