The petitioners are already before the Debts Recovery Tribunal, Visakhapatnam, in which certain interim orders have been passed protecting the interest of the petitioners. The present petition has been filed seeking a Mandamus against the respondent bank to consider the OTS proposal of the petitioners. Learned counsel for the petitioners has failed to convince us as to on what basis can such a direction at all be passed. 2 HCJ & RC, J WP_28543_2025 Learned counsel for the respondent bank, on the other hand, places reliance on the Apex Court judgment in The Bijnor Urban Cooperative Bank Limited v. Meenal Agarwal [(2023) 2 SCC 805] to say that no such direction can be issued. Be that as it may, we find no merit in the present petition, which is accordingly dismissed. No order as to costs.
