This Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is filed for the following relief:
“to issue an appropriate Writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of WRIT OF MANDAMUS declare the action of the Respondents imposing the major punishment on the Petitioner Vide Final Order No. FC/ 1448/ 15 dated 13-03-2015 by the 4th Respondent and confirmed the same in Appeal by

the 2nd Respondent Vide Ref. No. FC /4621/15 dated 20-08- 2015 is illegal, arbitrary unconstitutional, violative of principles of the natural justice and violative of CDA Rules 1982 and consequently set aside the Final Order Vide No. FC/1448/15 dated 13-03-2015 of the 4th Respondent which is confirmed by 2nd Respondent in the Appeal Vide Ref No. FC/4621/15 dated 20-08-2015 by reinstates the Petitioner in the service with all consequential benefits....”
2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in view of the subsequent events taken place in the lis, the cause in the Writ Petition does not survive for further adjudication and the Writ Petition has become infructuous.
3. Recording the said submissions, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no orders as to costs.
