1. By way of the present writ petition, the petitioner is not challenging any particular order but is seeking a direction from this Hon'ble Court to the Respondent authorities to consider upon the claim of the petitioners for Digitally signed by JYOTI JHA Date: 2025.09.26 17:30:06 +0530
2 employment in lieu of the acquisition of their land. Thus the claim/proposal for the employment on behalf of the petitioner is lying pending sicne 2018 with the respondent authorities, therefore he prays for a direction to the respondent authorities to decide the representation of the petitioner (Annexure P/4) dated 23.03.2018.

Learned counsel for respondents submits that in view of the limited prayer made by the learned counsel for petitioner seeking direction to respondent-authorities to consider the pending representation, he is having no objection to the limited prayer and pending representation dated 23.03.2018 will be considered in accordance with law.
3. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the material available on record.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case instead of keeping this petition pending, I find it appropriate to dispose of the same at this stage directing the respondent- authorities to consider/decide the representation of the petitioner (Annexure P-4) dated 23.03.2018 in accordance with law/rules/regulations as expeditiously as possible after giving opportunity of hearing to the concerned parties within a period of 45 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
5. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed anything on the merits of the case.
6. With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is disposed of.
