The present petitioner claims himself to be a 'social worker' and has prayed for a writ of mandamus directing respondent no.2 to conclude three separate proceedings under the Uttar Pradesh Public Premises (Eviction of Unauthorised Occupants) Act, 1972 pending at the behest of Nagar Panchayat of which he is a member against respondent nos.4, 5 and 6 within stipulated time. 2. The proceedings have been initiated in April, 2024. The extract of order-sheet filed along with the writ petition reveals that dates are being fixed very month. The exact status of the proceedings is not known. 3. In such a situation, we decline to issue any direction, at this stage. 4. The petition stands disposed of, accordingly.
