He was transferred from one range of Tarai West Forest Division to its another range vide order dated 8.2.2016, passed by Divisional Forest Officer. The said transfer order was subsequently cancelled vide order dated 10.2.2016. Feeling aggrieved by cancellation order, petitioner approached this Court by filing this writ petition. (3) At the time of filing of this writ petition in 2016, petitioner was 56 years of age. Today, we are in 2025. Petitioner must have retired long back, as stated by learned State Counsel. After retirement, the question of legality of the order, whereby order of transfer in respect of petitioner was cancelled, cannot be gone into.
