ORDER:- The instant Criminal Petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 by the Petitioners/Accused Nos.1 to 3 seeking to quash the proceedings against them in C.C.No.1767 of 2022 on the file of the Court of III Additional Junior Civil Judge, Ongole, Prakasam District. Heard Sri Sreekanth Reddy Ambati, learned counsel for the Petitioners

learned counsel representing the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor for the State/Respondent No.1 is in attendance.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that petitioners herein are husband, mother-in-law and sister-in-law of respondent No.2. Learned counsel would submit that coming to the case of sister-in-law, she is practising at Sathenapalli as a Dentist. The alleged incidents referred in the complaint are regarding the things transpired between wife and husband and the mother-in-law at Hyderabad. A3 never stayed with A1 and A2 under the roof. Her case may be considered.

Learned counsel for the respondent No.2 would submit that Court pass appropriate orders regarding A3.
5. may Considering the submissions made and a fair look at the contents of the complaint and other material placed on record as rightly put by learned counsel for the petitioners, there are no specific allegations made against A3 to continue further proceedings against her for the offences punishable under Sections 498-AIPC and 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.
6. In that view, continuing criminal proceedings against A3 in absence of the specific allegations prima facie to attract the offences under Sections 498- A IPC and 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act is sheer abuse of process of law.
7. In the result, the Criminal Petition is partly allowed for A3 and is dismissed in so far for A1 and A2. However, considering the age of A2, her

3 N presence before the trial court is dispensed with, unless her presence is specifically directed by the Trial Court. Pending Interlocutory Applications, if any, shall stand closed.
