Hon'ble Prakash Padia,J. 1. The petitioners have preferred the present writ petition inter-alias with the following prayer:- "I. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the Deputy Registrar, Firms, Chits and Societies, Agra Region, Agra to pass appropriate order by exercising the power under Section 4 of the Society registration Act 1860 on the election proceedings dated 02.02.2025 submitted by the petitioner within the time framed which may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court." 2. It is argued that after the elections were conducted by the petitioners- Committee of Management, papers were forwarded before the Respondent No. 2 namely Deputy Registrar, Firm Society & Chits, Agra Region Agra on 02.02.2025 but till date no decision has been taken, hence the present writ petition. 3. On the other hand, it is argued by the learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of respondents that respondent no. 2 will take a decision in the matter, expeditiously. 4. Heard counsel for the parties and perused the record. 5. With the consent of the counsel for the parties and also in the interest of justice, the present writ petition is disposed of finally directing the Respondent No. 2 - Deputy Registrar, Firm Society & Chits, Agra Region Agra to take a decision on the aforesaid matter within a period of two weeks from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order, after providing an opportunity of hearing to all the parties concerned, unless there is no legal impediment.
