This Court, vide order dated 22.03.2024 passed in MCRC No. 1153 of 2024, while allowing the bail to the petitioner, namely, Bhaskar Behra, had expressed its trust that the trial Court would make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of AKHILESH KUMAR DEWANGAN Digitally signed by AKHILESH KUMAR DEWANGAN 2 passing of the order, if there was no legal impediment. 3. Earlier on two occasion, also this Court had granted extension of time for compliance of the order dated 22.03.2024 in CRMP Nos.2912 of 2024 and 1486 of 2025. 4. The learned Special Judge, N.D.P.S., Bilaspur District - Bilaspur (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 01.09.2025 has requested for grant of four months more time for concluding the trial. 5. It appears from the perusal of the PUD that summons and bailable warrants for the appearance of witnesses are issued through the Nodal Officer, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Headquarters, Bilaspur, however, due to the non-appearance of the witnesses, the proceedings are being unnecessarily delayed. Hence, a prayer is made for extension of time in conclusion of the trial. 6. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of four months from today. 7. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction. 8.
