HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE ANUROOP SINGHI
Order 08/12/2025
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, considering the low quantum involved in the matter, i.e. Rs.12,000/-, he has instructions to withdraw the present petition. Accordingly, the same is dismissed as withdrawn.
[2025:RJ-JP:49798] (2 of 2) [CW-9841/2025]
Learned counsel has further brought to the notice of this Court that similar appeals arising out of the same award, wherein the quantum in dispute exceeds Rs.1,00,000/-, are currently pending consideration. It is submitted that it would therefore be in the interest of justice to observe that withdrawal of the present writ petition, which is wholly on the ground of low amount involved, would not prejudice the petitioner’s right in pursuing the other connected appeals already pending before this Court. The liberty, as prayed for, is granted with the specific observation that the present withdrawal of writ petition is only on the ground of the minimum quantum involved in the matter, and thus, would not affect the other appeals already pending before this Court. Accordingly, the present writ petition is dismissed. All pending application(s), if any also stands disposed of.
