In spite of adjourning the matter several times, the respondents have not filed their counter affidavit. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner has participated in the tender process and the 5*^ respondent has entered into an agreement with the 3. petitioner vide agreement No. 12 EE/2023-24, dated 12.07.2023, for execution of work of repairs to damaged RR Masonory Walls & Slab of UT at KM 11.375 of Balapanuru Distributory near Kovaraguntapalli Village, Simhadripuram th Mandal, YSR District. The petitioner has completed the work. The 5 respondent has issued quality control certificate and also issued measurement books and passed final bill for an amount of Rs. 14,31,047/-. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the payment of bill 4. amount is raised vide Token No.2024-170896 and the same was uploaded in GEMS portal. He also submits that in identical circumstances, the respondents have cleared the bills but in the instant case, the petitioner was not paid the amount. In view of the above, the Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the 5. respondents to release an amount of Rs.14,31,047/- to the petitioner within four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, with interest at 3 -12% p.a. The interest shall be computed from the date of expiry of one month from the date of submission of the bills by the petitioners till the date of payment. No order as to costs. As a sequel, misceilaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
