By way of filing this petition, a prayer has been made for issuing directions to the respondents for grant of regular pay scale, equal pay for equal work and regularization. 2. None has put in appearance on behalf of the petitioner. 3. Counsel for the respondents submits that the petitioner was engaged on contract basis and his services were terminated and thereafter, the petitioner did not remain under employment of the respondents. Counsel submits that the termination order has not been assailed by the petitioner, hence, under the changed circumstances, no cause of action (2 of 2) [CW-2474/2003] survives with the petitioner to continue with this petition and this petition has become infructuous. 4.
