Applicant has filed this application under Section 447 of B.N.S.S., 2023 seeking transfer of Case No.3986 of 2013, titled State Vs. Ramesh Rai and others, under Sections 498A, 323, 506 IPC, Police Station Ranipur, district Mau, pending in the court of Judicial Magistrate, FTC Women, Mau to the competent court of jurisdiction at Lucknow. Concededly, the case was lodged in the year 2006 and the applicant is only a witness, who is aggrieved against the summons issued by the court, therefore, the application has been filed for transferring the trial from Mau to Lucknow. Considering the sole ground, particularly the fact that the prosecution of eight accused persons was launched at the intance of the applicant's father, this Court is not inclined to transfer the case.
