The applicant has preferred this first bail application under Section 483 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 for grant of regular bail as he has been arrested on 17-7-2024 in connection with Crime No. 119 of 2024 registered at Police Station – Sanaud, Revenue and Civil District Balod (CG) for alleged commission of offences under Sections 137, 87, 64(2) (M) of BSNSS & Section 5 (L) and 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual 2 Offences Act, 2012. and Section 3 (2)(v) of the Prevention of Atrocities (Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes) Act. 2. Learned counsel, for the applicant would submit that he seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this bail petition with a prayer that a direction may be given to the trial court to expedite the trial. 3. Considering the fact that the applicant is in jail since 17-7-2024, it is directed that the trial Court shall expedite the trial within an outer limit of 1 ½ years from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.
