The Court made the following: :: ORDER:: The above contempt case is filed complaining about the non implementation of the order dated 27.03.2014 in W.P.No.9155 of 2014. 2. The petitioner filed W.P.No.9155 of 2014 to declare the action of the respondent authorities in not granting family pension, is illegal and arbitrary. The said writ petition was disposed of on 27.03.2014, wherein the operative portion of the said order reads as follows: “Without adverting to the merits of the matter, the present Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent authorities to consider the representations, dated 02.12.2012 and 03.03.2014, submitted by the petitioner, and pass appropriate orders regarding request for providing family pension in terms of G.O.Ms.No.315, dated 07.10.2010. This exercise shall be completed. her as expeditiously as possible, at any rate within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3. The Contempt Case was adjourned at the request of learned counsel for the petitioner to ascertain the latest position 21.07.2022, 29.12.2022, 04.03.2025 & 01.04.2025. 4. Today, when the matter is listed, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that he could not contact the petitioner. 5. Given the facts and circumstances of the case, the Contempt Case is closed for the time being. However, it is open to the petitioner to move the appropriate application, if the order has not been complied with.
