P C : The present PIL was filed seeking a Mandamus for transfer of the investigation in FIR No.1 of 2020, dated 06.11.2020, undertaken by the Crime Investigation Department (CID) to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on the ground that the State agency had failed to conduct an effective investigation against private respondent No.7, who is stated to have indulged in misappropriation of public money in his capacity as the Chairman of the

Learned counsel for the respondents would submit that the investigation is since over, as charge sheet has since been filed and the trial is on. In that view of the matter, we do not find it necessary to pass any further orders and the proceedings are accordingly closed. No costs. Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, in this case shall stand closed.
