Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC:57286 Court No. - 76 Case :- MATTERS UNDER ARTICLE 227 No. - 3811 of 2025 Petitioner :- Akhilesh Kumar Vishwakarma Respondent :- State of U.P. and Another Counsel for Petitioner :- Alok Ranjan Tripathi Counsel for Respondent :- G.A. Hon'ble Vinod Diwakar,J. 1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned A.G.A. for the State. 2. By way of the present petition, the petitioner seeks a direction to the learned trial Court for expeditious disposal of Case No. 2721 of 2022, Akhilesh Kumar Vishwakarma v. Sarvendra Singh Yadav, under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, pending before the court of A.C.J.M., First Judge, District Kanpur Dehat, within a stipulated time frame. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the proceedings in the aforesaid case have been pending since the year 2022, and no substantial progress has been made to date. It is, therefore, submitted that a direction be issued to the concerned trial Court to dispose of the matter within a fixed period. 4. Upon consideration of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and perusal of the record, the Court finds no sufficient or cogent grounds pleaded in the writ petition to justify why the said case should be accorded priority over other pending matters before the trial Court. As such, no case for issuance of a direction for expeditious disposal is made out. 5. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed for lack of sufficient pleadings.
