Learned counsel for the appellant submits that although, by a previous direction, we had directed an amount deposited with the Registrar, Original Side to be transmitted to the Registrar General of this court, due to technical difficulties in doing so, the Registrar, Original Side may be directed to return the demand draft deposited by the appellant to the learned Advocate for the appellant for a fresh demand draft to be issued by the appellant in favour of the Registrar General. 2. Upon hearing learned counsel, we modify the order dated April 10, 2025 to the effect that instead of transmitting the deposit to the Registrar General, the Registrar, Original Side shall return the demand draft deposited by the appellant to the learned Advocate for the appellant as soon as so approached. 2 3. The appellant shall thereafter issue a fresh demand draft for the same amount and deposit it with the learned Registrar General of this court. 4. The time for so depositing is extended for a fortnight from date. 5. It may further be recorded that such deposit of fresh demand draft shall be construed to be in compliance of the order dated March 19, 2025. (Sabyasachi Bhattacharyya, J.) (Uday Kumar, J.)
