Ajay Mohan Goel, Judge (Oral). By way of this petition, the petitioner has, inter alia, prayed for following relief:-
“i. The respondents may be ordered to release pension in favour of the petitioner immediately from the due date i.e. w.e.f. 30th September, 2017, as has been done in the other cases with all bene#ts incidental thereof.”

Learned counsel for the Accountant General (A&E) informs the Court that PPO (Pension Payment Order) has been prepared in favor of the petitioner and the date of start of pension of the petitioner is 1st October, 2017. 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment?

In light of this development, this petition is disposed of with the direction that regular pension be now released in favour of the petitioner in light of the Pension Payment Order drawn in favour of the petitioner. Arrears of pension be released in her favour as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of three months from today. In case arrears are not paid within the said period, then the same shall entail simple interest at the rate of 6% per annum from the date of this order. Commuted pension, if any, be also released in favour of the petitioner. Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, also stand disposed of.
