In the test conducted, the petitioner succeeded in the test for LMV while he was failed for test conducted for Motor Cycle with gear. Though the petitioner appeared for a retest, he again failed the test for Motor Cycle with gear. The petitioner is before this court being aggrieved by the fact that though he passed for LMV, the Driving Licence has not so far been issued to the petitioner. 2. The learned Government Pleader submits that in the Sarathi Data base which has been developed for considering the applications for Driving Licence, the petitioner has not so far withdrawn his application for Driving Licence for Motor Cycle with gear. It is submitted that if the petitioner approaches the 4th respondent and files necessary applications for withdrawing the licence application for Motor Cycle with gear, the petitioner can be issued with a Driving Licence for LMV. 3. Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Deputy Solicitor General of India (in-charge) for 1st respondent and the learned Government Pleader for respondents 2 t0 8, this writ petition will stand disposed of directing that on the petitioner withdrawing his application for Driving Licence for Motor Cycle with gear in such a manner as required by 2025:KER:30389 W.P (C) No.9549/2025 -4- the 4th respondent, the petitioner shall be issued with a Driving Licence for LMV without any further delay. The petitioner shall appear before the 4th respondent at 11 a.m on 15-04-2025 and thereafter the matter shall be processed as directed above. Writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
