N RAVINDER The Court Made the Following Order:- This Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is filed for the following relief: “to issue a writ order or direction, more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the candidature of the petitioner for the post of Junior Linemen and take steps for his appointment to the 2 said post ip. the coming recruitment process and issue any other orders which the Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case and in the interests of Justice...” 2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, pursuant to the orders dated 18.08.2023 issued by the Executive Engineer (Operation), Jaggampeta, appointing the petitioner as Junior Lineman, the petitioner is presently serving as a Lineman, and therefore, no further orders are required in the present lis. The said assertions have not been disputed by the learned standing counsel for the respondent/corporation. Learned standing counsel for the respondent/corporation also submitted that the writ petition may be closed, as no further orders are necessary. 3. In view of the submissions made by both sides and in view of the contents of the memo dated 18.08.2023 issued by the Executive Engineer Operation, Jaggampeta, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for further adjudication. Hence, the writ petition is closed. No costs.
