Heard learned counsel for the petitioners. 2. Present petition has been filed with following prayer:- "(i). Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding to the Rent Authority/ Additional District Magistrate (Judicial), Meerut Region, District Meerut- Respondent No. 1 to decide the Case No. 3542 of 2023, Computerized Case No. D202311520003542 (Dalip Singh and another Vs. Mohd. Usman) expeditiously or such time period fix by this Hon'ble Court in view of the facts and circumstances of the present case." 3. Learned counsel for petitioners submitted that aforesaid case is pending since long, therefore, a direction may be issued to decide the same at the earliest. 4. In the facts and circumstances of the case, the present petition is disposed of with direction to Rent Authority/ Additional District Magistrate (Judicial), Meerut Region, District Meerut- Respondent No. 1 to decide aforesaid case in light of Section 32 (2) of the Act No. 16 of 2021, if possible within a period of two months, but not more than four months in any eventuality from the date of production of certified copy of this order after providing opportunity of hearing to all concerned and without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, if there is no legal impediment. In case, adjournment is granted, Court shall record reasons for adjournment and may impose cost, if required.
