W V S RAJESWARI The Court made the following: THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAVI CHEEMALAPATI WRIT PETITION NO: 21055/2007 ORDER: On 01.09.2025, this Court directed the registry to issue notice to the petitioner as the petitioner’s counsel was elevated as Judge. 2. Endorsement of the registry goes to show that the notice sent to the petitioner through registered post was returned unserved with an endorsement ‘no such person’. 3. When the writ petitions are pending before the Court, the parties should invariably be in contact with their advocate. However, in the present case, when the petitioner counsel was elevated as judge, the petitioner has to take steps to pursue the writ petition. This shows that the petitioner had no interest in pursuing the matter. Hence, the Writ Petition is liable to be dismissed. 4. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, if the petitioner feels that the cause still survives, he can file appropriate application within a period of two (02) months. There shall be no order as to costs.
