This petition has been filed to condone the delay of 263 days in filing the above appeal against the judgment dated 04.04.2024 in MCOP No.114 of 2021, on the file of the MACT No.1, Special District Court, Tiruvallur. 2.Notice had been directed to the respondents, the names of R1 and R3 have been printed in the cause list and counsel had entered appearance for R2. 3.The reasons given for delay is inability to pay the Court fee withing the stipulated time. Taking all factors into consideration, the delay stands condoned. However, for the period of delay of 263 days, R2 cannot be mulcted with payment of interest on the Award amount. 4.The petition is ordered.
