Petitioner was engaged as a daily wager to perform duties of Date Entry Operator in Narendra Nagar Forest Division in the year 2015. His engagement has been discontinued pursuant to letter issued by concerned Divisional Forest Officer on 27.11.2024. The reason assigned for disengaging petitioner is that Jayka Project, under which petitioner was engaged, has come to an end. 5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the statement made in the letter issued by concerned Divisional Forest Officer is not correct, as Jayaka Project is still continuing and work & post is also available in the concerned Division. 6. Learned State Counsel submits that since petitioner was disengaged in November, 2024 and he has approached this Court after one year, therefore, no case is made out of grant of interim relief. 7. Learned counsel for the petitioner 2025:UHC:8893 submits that petitioner be permitted to make representation for his re- engagement and the concerned Divisional Forest Officer be directed to examine his claim of re-engagement, if work and post is still available. 8. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to petitioner to make representation to the Divisional Forest Officer concerned. If petitioner makes representation within ten days from today, decision thereupon shall be taken by concerned Divisional Forest Officer, within four weeks thereafter.
