order on the representation of the petitioners particularly in the light of letter dated 31-05-2024 vide Lr.No.35/SERP/HR/ Rep./2024 of the 7th respondent as arbitrary, illegal and discrimination among same persons apart from the violation of Articles 14, 16 and 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents to extend the same scale of revised pay to the Petitioners who are placed in the same cadre in the SERP forthwith and pass IA NO: 1 OF 2025 Petition under Section 151 CPC praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the High Court may be pleased Pleased to direct the respondents to pass speaking orders on the claim of the Petitioners for rectifying the anomaly in pay fixation on par with similarly placed DPMs forthwith, pending disposal of the above writ petition, and pass Counsel for the Petitioner(S):

ORDER:- The present Writ Petition is filed to declare the action of the Respondents in not considering the case of the Petitioners for rectification of pay anomaly on par with similarly placed employees in the SERP on the representation of the Petitioners particularly in the light of the Letter dated 31.05.2024 of the Respondent No.7 as illegal and arbitrary.
2. The Petitioners were appointed as Livelihood Associates in the Respondent No.7 organization and now they are working as District Project Managers since 2011. The Petitioners seek for release of three increments and rectification of pay anomaly at par with the persons similarly situated. Though the information was sought for by the Respondent No.7 on 31.05.2024 vide Letter No.35/SERP/HR/Rep/2024, no further action has been taken thereof.

Learned counsel for the Petitioners submits that similar relief was given to the individuals who were similarly situated.
4. Sri M. Hari Babu, learned Standing Counsel, would submit that the representations of the Petitioners would be examined soon and appropriate orders will be passed.

5. Having heard the respective counsel, the Respondent No.7 is
directed to examine the case of the Petitioners for grant of three increments and rectification of pay anomaly within a period of two months from today.
6. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no orders as to costs. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed.
