With the assistance of the learned Advocate for the applicant, I have perused the application. 3. The delay has been explained more particularly, in paragraphs 7, 8 and 9 of the application. In my view, the delay has been appropriately explained and a sufficient cause for condoning such delay has been made out. The learned AGP would oppose the application. However, there is no written opposition/reply on record. 4. Considering the above, in the interest of justice, such delay of 16 days is to be condoned.
