The present petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking following relief: “It is, therefore, prayed that, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to quash the offence under Section 307 of IPC registered against the petitioner before the Police Station Sargaon, District Mungeli (C.G.) on 04-11-2018 as Crime No.05/2018, its registration, in the interest of justice.” 4. From perusal of the impugned orders and materials available on records, it transpires that the matter pertains to the year 2018 and till date no interim order has been passed and today when the matter is called out, none appeared on behalf of the petitioner, as such, this Court is of the view that the petitioner has lost interest in pursuing the matter due to efflux of time. 5. Accordingly, the present petition is dismissed on this ground alone. 6. OfÏce is directed to send a certified copy of this order to the trial Court for necessary information and compliance.
