A memo dated 27.6.2024 has been filed signed by the learned counsel for the Petitioner seeking withdrawal of the petition, which reads as under: Memo for withdrawal The petitioner respectfully submits that on insisting notional duty to regularize the default of export obligation in respect of the goods procured indigenously against the invalidation, the petitioner vide application dated 22.08.2019 approached the 2nd Respondent. Aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the 2nd Respondent in considering their application dated 22.08.2019, the petitioner, has filed the above numbered writ petition seeking writ of mandamus. Subsequent to filing the above numbered writ, the office of the 1st Respondent vide letter dated 02.02.2024 clarified that to regularize the default of export obligation in respect of the goods procured indigenously against the invalidation, the duty payable in excise duty and not the notional customs duty. It is therefore the petitioner, respectfully prays this Hon’ble High Court may pleased to permit petitioner to withdraw the above numbered writ petition in the interest of justice. 3.
