The petitioner, through the medium of the present petition, is seeking initiation of the contempt proceedings against the respondents for having violated order dated 04.12.2024 passed by this Court in WP(C) No. 2866/2024. It is the grievance of the petitioner that despite having approached the respondents-Police Authorities, no action has been taken by the Police Authorities. 2. A perusal of the order of the writ court would reveal that the petitioner has been given liberty to approach the concerned Police Station, in case any harassment is meted out to him by way of an application and the police authorities have been asked to take necessary action as warranted under law. Sr. No. 04 2 CCP(S) No. 277/2025 3. The grievance of the petitioner can be redressed by giving him a liberty to approach the concerned Judicial Magistrate with an application under section 156(3) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, in case the respondents-Police Authorities have not taken any action on his complaint. 4. The allegations made in the contempt petition do not disclose any willful disobedience of the order of this Court by the respondents. Therefore, the proceedings against the respondents are closed.
