Agrawal Order on Board 24/01/2025 1) Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that by virtue of the award dated 17/05/2017 passed by the Sub-Divisional Officer (Revenue) and Land Acquisition Officer, Raigarh in Land Acquisition Case No.43/A-82/2014-15, the amount of compensation of the land bearing Khasra No.241/2 admeasuring 1.619 hectare and No.180/4 CHANDRAKANT DEWANGAN Digitally signed by CHANDRAKANT DEWANGAN Date: 2025.01.24 18:13:52 +0530 2 admeasuring 0.405 hectare owned by the petitioner, has been determined to the tune of Rs.56,20,730/-, but the same has been reduced by Respondent No.4 by way of letter dated 16/10/2015 (Annexure P-1) to the tune of Rs.29,51,235/- without any authority and, till date the amount of compensation, i.e. Rs.56,20,730/-, as has been determined under the said award, has not been paid. It is contended further that the concerned respondent authority-Sub-Divisional Officer (Revenue) and Land Acquisition Officer, Raigarh be directed for disbursing the said amount of compensation to the petitioner. 2) Taking into consideration the aforesaid contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner, I am of the view that, if the petitioner moves an appropriate application/representation for releasing of the aforesaid amount of award, the concerned respondent authority-Sub-Divisional Officer (Revenue) and Land Acquisition Officer, Raigarh shall consider and decide the same, within a period of 45 days from the date of receipt of the application/representation. 3) With the aforesaid observation, this petition stands disposed of. -Sd/- (Sanjay S.
