Learned counsel for the respondent has handed over a draft bearing No.508337 dated 10.07.2025 amounting to Rs.39,75,000/- issued in favour of the petitioner towards prize money to learned counsel for the petitioner. Learned counsel, on instructions, from Mr. Harpreet Singh Sudan, Director Sports, Punjab cum Secretary Punjab State Sports Council, submits that the draft regarding remaining prize money which is payable to the petitioner shall be handed over to learned counsel the petitioner after deduction of TDS, if any, within two weeks from today. 2. In view thereof, no further cause survives in the present petition. 3. Disposed of in the above terms. 4. Rule discharged. 5. However, in case the needful is not done within the aforementioned period, as per the undertaking, 1/3rd salary of respondent, shall remain attached till the compliance is made. 6. Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, shall also stand disposed of. 7.
