This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for:
“.... to issue a Writ or Direction or an Order more particularly one in the nature of WRIT OF MANDAMUS to declare the action of respondent in not arresting the accused and not investigating the crime in pursuant to the FIR.No. 202 OF 2022 on the file of the 5th respondent Police Station as illegal, arbitrary, unfair, biased and contrary to the provisions of SC ST POA Act, also contrary to the Criminal Procedure Code and violative of Articles 12, 14 and 21 of the constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents to effect the arrest of the

accused and complete investigation within prescribed time as per act”
2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. 3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that as per the earlier report received from the police, the investigation in Crime No. 202 of 2022 might have completed by this time. 4. Recording the said submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, Police are directed to conclude the investigation in the above crime and file a report in accordance with law, within a period of two (2) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not filed charge sheet by this date. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
