By means of present writ petition, petitioner has sought the indulgence of this Court for a direction to the respondent nos.2 & 3 not to harass the petitioner by visiting the residence of the petitioner in Case Crime/FIR No.20 of 2022, State vs. Akhilesh Singh Bhartiya, registered with Police Station Pithoragarh, under Section 67 of the I.T. Act, 2008. 4. Learned State Counsel candidly made a statement before this Court that after investigation, charge-sheet has been submitted against the son of the petitioner, namely, Akhilesh Singh Bhartiya and one Ritesh Kumar under Section 67 of the I.T. Act and Section 354 IPC on 21.02.2023. 5. Having considered the submissions made by learned counsel for the parties, since after investigation, charge-sheet has been submitted in the matter against the aforesaid two persons, there is no useful purpose for the police to harass the petitioner, who is a senior citizen aged about 67 years of age, therefore, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent nos.2 & 3 not to harass the petitioner in connection with the aforesaid case. 6.
