1. This is an office reference.
2. This Court, vide order dated 07.10.2024 passed in CRMP No. 556 of 2022, while rejecting the petition preferred on behalf of petitioner No.2 (Sheikh Javed), had observed that the trial Court shall make an earnest endeavour to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of passing of the said order.
3. The learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Surajpur, District
3 Surajpur (C.G.), vide communication dated 26.08.2025, has sought extension of time for conclusion of the trial.
4. On perusal of the PUD, it transpires that the case is now fixed for final arguments; however, since the Presiding Officer has been transferred to another station, a request for further time has been made.
5. The request so made appears to be reasonable. Accordingly, the concerned trial Court is granted liberty and directed to conclude the trial at the earliest, preferably within a further period of two months from today.
6. With the aforesaid direction, the present CRMP stands disposed off.
7. Registry is directed to forthwith transmit a certified copy of this
order to the trial Court concerned for information and necessary compliance.
