The petitioner has filed the present petition as a public interest litigation, inter alia, praying that directions be issued to the respondents to develop the ancient Sri. Amareshwara Temple and its premises for the safety of devotees and for protecting the ancient temple which is located at Aurad (B) Taluk, Bidar District. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:44225-DB WP No. 32874 of 2025 2. The petitioner has already made representation to the respondents. It is also the petitioner's case that the condition of the temple as such is unsafe for the devotees who visit the same. 3. In view of the above, we consider it apposite to direct the respondents to examine whether the condition of the temple is unsafe for the devotees. If it is so found, it is directed to take necessary steps to ensure the safety of the devotees visiting the said temple. 4. In so far as the prayer that the said temple be developed, we do not consider it apposite to issue such directions.
