The Petitioner is seeking pre-arrest bail in connection with Spl. G.R. Case No.48 of 2024, pending in the Court of learned 1st Add. Dist. & Sessions Judge, Rourkela, arising out of Uditnagar P.S. Case No.420 of 2024 for commission of alleged offences under Sections 20(b)(ii)B/29 of NDPS Act. 3. This Court by order dated 30.04.2025 in ABLAPL No.2314 of 2025 directed the Petitioner to be released on bail subject to verification of antecedent. 4. It is stated that the Petitioner has three criminal antecedents though not of similar nature. Hence, this application. 5. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for pre-arrest bail. 6. Taking into account the nature of allegation, this Court is not inclined to entertain the application for pre-arrest bail. However, in the event the Petitioner surrenders before the learned Court in seisin in the aforesaid case and moves an application for his release on bail, the same shall be considered on its own merit. 7.
