The petitioner has preferred present writ petition inter-alia with the prayer to direct the respondent no.2 (Licensing Authority/District Magistrate, Rampur) to grant Arms License of N.P. Bore Revolver/Pistol, which is pending as Application Form (Form A-1) bearing Form No.4764 dated 06.12.2024 within stipulated period. 3. Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent no.2- Licensing Authority/District Magistrate, Rampur states that subject to verification of all facts, the application as made by the petitioner for grant of an arm license shall be duly evaluated and disposed of in accordance with law and preferably within a period of two months from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order. 4. Accordingly and without going into the merits of the claim of the petitioner, this petition shall stand disposed of in light of the statement noted above.
