JUSTICE B M SHYAM PRASAD - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:38224 WP No. 28404 of 2025 ORAL ORDER The petitioner has purchased undivided share in an immovable property situate at Residency Road, Bengaluru in the year 2019. The sale deed, when presented is referred for due verification of the stamp duty and the registration fee in exercise of jurisdiction under Section 45A(3) of the Karnataka Stamp Act, 1957. Mr. C. N. Mahadeshwaran, the learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that the petitioner has repeatedly filed representations for early closure of the proceedings but no action has been taken in all these days. Mr. Rahul Cariappa, the learned Additional Government Advocate, who is called upon to accept notice for the respondents, is heard for final disposal of the petition. This Court must observe that if the proceedings are initiated as regards stamp duty and registration fee for all the documents executed in the year 2019, there must be early resolution. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:38224 WP No. 28404 of 2025 As such, the petition stands disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to file a certified copy of this order directing the second respondent to conclude the inquiry and pass just orders within three [3] months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
