ORAL ORDER
1. The petitioners filed this writ petition seeking for mandamus directing respondent Nos.1 to 3 to consider the set of representations dated 12.08.2024, vide Annexures E, F and G.

Brief facts leading rise to the filing of this writ petition are as follows:
3. On 31.08.1981, the Government of Karnataka has accorded sanction for transfer of government silk weaving factory, Mysuru, silk Filature, T.N. Pura, Kanakapura, Mysuru to the KSIC Ltd. The retired employees of erstwhile Government Silk weaving

factory, Mysuru, Silk Filature, T.N.Pura, Kanakapura, Mysuru have approached this court seeking a direction to consider the representations for extending the benefits of pension and other benefits as per KCSR Rules. This court issued a direction to the respondents to consider their request in accordance with law.
4. The set of similarly situated employees have approached this court for extending the benefit of pension and other pensionary benefits. This court, vide order dated 06.09.2017, allowed the writ petition and directed the respondents to consider their grievance in accordance with law. Pursuant to the order passed by this Court, the petitioners have submitted a representations vide Annexures E, F and G to respondent Nos.1 to 3. But, respondent Nos.1 to 3 have not passed any order on the representations submitted by the petitioners. Hence, this writ petition.

5. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Additional Government Advocate for R1, R2 and R4 and learned counsel for respondent No.3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that similar set of employees approached this Court in W.P.Nos.40609-40650/2017
disposed of on 06.09.2017, wherein this court has directed the respondents to address the request of the petitioners therein. The petitioners herein are also entitled for the same relief on the ground of parity. Hence, on these grounds, he prays to allow the writ petition.
7. Learned Additional Government Advocate submits that if reasonable time is granted to respondent Nos. 1 to 3, they would consider the representation vide Annexures E, F and G and pass the appropriate order in accordance with law.

8. In view of the submission made by the Learned Additional Government Advocate, the writ petition is allowed in part.
9. Respondent Nos.1 to 3 are directed to consider the representations of the petitioners vide Annexures E, F and G and pass the orders in accordance with law within eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
