CORAM : THE CHIEF JUSTICE DHIRAJ SINGH THAKUR SRI JUSTICE CHALLA GUNARANJAN DATE : 18th November 2025 P C : The present appeal has been preferred against the judgment and order, dated 07.02.2025, in W.P. No.16774 of 2017. After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the respondents makes a statement, upon instructions, that the appellant would be paid an amount Rs.20,000/- per month and further that he would not be evicted from the residential house, which he is currently occupying other than the land which is approximately six acres, till such time as he continues to discharge his duty as an Archaka.

Learned counsel for the appellant expresses his satisfaction except to the extent that the other Archakas working in respondent No.4 – Temple were being paid Rs.60,000/- per month and that his case be considered for payment of the same emoluments. We have been informed that payment to Archakas is based upon their qualifying certain Agamas and that in case the petitioner has satisfied the requirement of the said conditions, a decision would be taken. Be that as it may, in view of the aforementioned assurances, learned counsel for the appellant does not wish to urge any other point. The writ appeal shall stand disposed of in terms of the statements so made. No costs.
Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed.
