Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State respondents. 2. Present writ petition is filed questioning the order dated 6.6.1991 rejecting the approval of petitioner's appointment. 3. Considering the submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner and on perusal of the record, this Court has passed following interim order on 11.10.1991: "Put up on the date of admission. Meanwhile, selection for appointment of Class IV employee in Bhaghirathi Arya Kanya Inter College Lalkurti, Meerut, may take place but the result of such selection shall not be given effect to. Further, in case the quota meant for members of the Scheduled Caste is already full, the petitioner may be permitted to work as Class IV employee. However, this shall be subject to the decision of the writ petition." 4. By virtue of the abovesaid order, services of the petitioner were continued and salaries were also released. Subsequently, the respondents have also passed the order approving the appointment of the petitioner vide order dated 7.6.1993 and the same was filed by the petitioner along with rejoinder affidavit dated 5.5.2016. 5. In view of the above, as the petitioner's appointment has already been approved by the competent authority, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to take consequential action pursuant to the order dated 7.6.1993 and release the benefits for which the petitioner is entitled, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
