PUBLIC PROSECUTOR The Court made the following: ORDER: The Criminal Petition has been filed under Sections 437 and 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for brevity ‘the Cr.P.C.’) Sections 480 and 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for brevity ‘the BNSS’), seeking to enlarge the petitioner/Accused on bail in Crime No.53 of 2025 of Eluru I Town Police Station, Eluru District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 332(a), 103(1), 305(a) and 238 of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (for short ‘the BNS). 2 2. Heard the learned counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor. 3. This is the second bail application. Earlier, this Court dismissed the first bail application vide Crl.P.No.8666 of 2025 on 30.08.2025. After a thorough investigation, the charge sheet has been filed, and the accusation appears to be well-founded. Except for taking of cognizance of the alleged offences by the learned Trial Court on 09.10.2025, there is no substantial progress in the trial proceedings.
