The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Jagarnathpur P.S. Case No.411 of 2024, for the offences registered under Section 108 of the B.N.S., 2023, pending in the Court of Sri Mayank Maliyaz, learned Judicial Magistrate, Ranchi. On 07.10.2024 at about 7:00 P.M., the victim, who is younger sister of the informant committed suicide. It is alleged that she was having affairs with the petitioner. There was some dispute between them resulting into suicide. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that there is nothing on the record to show that petitioner has actually abetted the victim to commit suicide. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri Mayank Maliyaz, learned Judicial Magistrate, Ranchi, in connection with Jagarnathpur P.S.
