District and Sessions Judge, Chitradurga, in Crl.A.no.34/2023 confirming judgment of conviction and order of sentence dated 06.03.2023 passed by Prl. Civil Judge and J.M.F.C., Holalkere, in C.C.no.872/2022, this revision petition is filed. 2. Learned counsel for parties submitted that during pendency of revision petition, parties have entered into settlement, where under petitioner/accused has agreed to pay sum of Rs.2,20,000/- (Rupees Two Lakh Twenty Thousand only) in full and final settlement of respondent/complainant's claim under cheque. Said amount has been paid today and therefore submit that revision petition may be disposed of as settled. A joint memo is filed to said effect, which reads as under: "JOINT MEMO The petitioner and respondent prays to state as follows:- 1. It is submits that, respondent filed case against the petitioner for dishonour of cheque of Rs.2,20,000/-. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:49941 CRL.RP No. 1632 of 2023 2. It is submits that, both petitioner and respondent, have arrived to an settlement in this case and petitioner has already paid an amount of Rs.2,20,000/- to the respondent towards full final settlement of this case and respondent has agreed for the same. WHEREFORE, both petitioner and respondent prays this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to set-aside the judgment of conviction and sentence passed on the file of Hon'ble Prl. Civil Judge and JMFC at Holalkere, in C.C.No.872/2022 dated 06.03.2023 and also the order passed by the Hon'ble 1st Addl. District and Session Judge at Chitradurga in Criminal Appeal No.34/2023 dated 13.10.2023 and acquit the petitioner, in interest of justice." 3. Parties are present and identified by their respective counsel. 4. On interaction, parties have stated that they have been explained terms and conditions of settlement and after understanding same, they have affirmed same out of their free will and volition without there being any threat, coercion or undue influence from anybody. 5.
