GP FOR FINANCE PLANNING The Court made the following: 4 VS,J WP.No.25936 of 2024 ORDER: This Writ Petition came to be filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking the following prayer: “to issue a direction or order more particularly one in the nature of WRIT OF MANDAMUS declaring the action of the Respondent Authorities in not releasing the pending bill amount worth of Rs.40,16,020/- payment to the petitioner herein with interest till date as per the Agreement No.59SE/17-18 dated 21.08.2017 in relation to the execution of work pertaining to Reconstruction of Check Dam on Padmapuram Gedda system within the village limits of Dharmapuram in Ichchapuram Mandalam of Srikakulam District under Neeru-Chettu Programme, also causing heavy loss of interest even though total work was completed, as illegal, arbitrary, violative of principles of natural justice, violative of provisions of Clause 68 of the Andhra Pradesh Detailed Preliminary Standard Specification and violative of Articles 14, 21 and 300-A of Constitution of India and consequently direct the Respondent Authorities to pay the same along with an interest at the rate of 12 percentage per annum and to pass” 2. Today when the writ petition came up for hearing, Smt. Jagarlamudi Koteswari Devi, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the pending the present writ petition, the amounts payable to the petitioner were already paid by the respondent authorities and that no further orders are required in the present petition. 5 VS,J WP.No.25936 of 2024 3. In view of the fact that the petitioner has received the amounts payable to him by the respondent authorities, this writ petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
