learned counsel appearing for the respondents. Being aggrieved by the action of the 2"*^ respondent in making
2. mortgage and RTDM deed mandatory through Public Data Entry (PDE) System vide Memo No.CARD 3/7045/2019, dated 30.12.2019, the instant Writ Petition has been filed.
2 The petitioners further sought consequential direction to the respondents to allow the said process of Mortgage and RTDM through PDE System as an optional, rather than mandatory. The 1®' petitioner is an Association, registered under the provisions of AP Societies Registration Act, 2001, which is an Association
3. created for the welfare of the Document Writers in the state of A.P. It is contended that the government has introduced a project called Computer - Aided Administration of Registration Department (CARD) in the year 1996, in
order to facilitate the process of ‘registration’ through computer by replacing the manual systems of copying, indexing and accounting. As per further instructions of the 2"^^ respondent dated 30.12.2019, informed the officers of the department that a decision had been taken to extend the Public Date Entry (PDE) Module in the state to Mortgage and Receipt for discharge of Mortgage (RTDM) deeds. The petitioners, therefore, apprehended that their livelihoods would be hampered by the impugned proceedings. It is stated that the 1®' petitioner - Association has also made a representation to the 2""^ respondent on 03.12.2019, explaining the practical difficulty that would be faced by the public in general and to the petitioners' Association.

5. No counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the respondents.

directed to dispose of the representation filed by the petitioners on 03.12.2019, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of the orders of this Court. The petitioners shall also make available a copy of the representation dated 03.12.2019, before the 2"'^ respondent. The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. There shall be no
