JUSTICE G BASAVARAJA ORAL ORDER The application is filed under Section 483 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 for grant of regular bail as the accused is in judicial custody in Crime No.474/2025 dated 02.12.2025 registered by Govindaraja Nagar Police Station. 2. On the basis of the complaint filed by the victim/complainant, Govindaraja Nagar police have registered the case in Crime No.474/2025 against the accused for the offences punishable under Section 318(4), - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:54805 CRL.P No. 17514 of 2025 64, 352 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023. It is submitted that, both the complainant/victim and accused are advocates by profession. The complaint came to be filed on 02.12.2025. The alleged incident took place between 01.07.2025 and 01.12.2025. The alleged commission of offences are not punishable with death or imprisonment for life. The accused is not required for further investigation. The accused is in judicial custody from the date of his arrest i.e., 04.12.2025 till this day. 3. Considering the nature and gravity of offences and status of both accused and victim, prior antecedents of the petitioner, it is just and proper to allow this petition with conditions. Accordingly, I proceed to pass the following: ORDER Petition filed under Section 483 of Bharatiya Nagarika Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 is allowed, subject to following conditions: - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:54805 CRL.P No. 17514 of 2025 i) The petitioner shall be released on bail upon executing a self bond of Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees one lakh rupees only) with one surety for the likesum to the satisfaction of the concerned jurisdictional Magistrate in Crime No.474/2025. ii) The petitioner shall assist the Investigating Officer for his investigation. iii) The petitioner shall not tamper or threaten the prosecution witnesses in any manner. iv) The petitioner shall not indulge in similar offences.
