Sri.M.S.Devaraju., learned counsel is directed to accept notice for respondent No.6. 2. The petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: a. Issue a writ of mandamus directing the Respondents to consider the Petitioner's representations Dt. 18.04.2023, 19.03.2024 & 20.03.2024 (Annexures-C, G & H); b. Issue a writ of mandamus directing the Respondents to take appropriate action for lifting the social boycott imposed upon the Petitioner and his family by the heads of Hirikyathanahalli, thereby paving way for them to lead normal social life in the said village; - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:50531 WP No. 10543 of 2024 c. Pass such other relief/s as this Hon'ble Court deems fit & proper in the interest of justice & equity. 3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner being ostracization and boycotted by the villagers of Hirikyathanahalli, Hunsur Taluk, Mysuru District. The petitioner had furnished various representations on 18.04.2023, 19.03.2024 and 20.03.2024 which have not been considered by respondent and necessary action not taken. 4. Whenever any representation has been submitted as regards ostracization or social boycott, the same is required to be considered in terms of the decision of the Hon’ble Apex Court in Shakti Vahini v. Union of India & Ors., reported in AIR 2018 SC 1601 and necessary orders be passed within a reasonable period of time. 5. Learned AGA submits that action has not been taken on the complaint of the petitioner on account of the petitioner making habitual complaints without any reason. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:50531 WP No. 10543 of 2024 6. Even if that be so, what was required for the respondents is to have passed necessary orders on the said complaint, the respondent could not have just sat on the complaint which has been filed by the petitioner. Hence, I pass the following; ORDER i. The writ petition is allowed. ii. A mandamus is issued, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner representation dated 18.04.2023, 19.03.2024 and 20.03.2024 at Annexure-C, E and H in terms of the decision of the Hon’ble Apex Court Shakti Vahini v. Union of India, reported in AIR 2018 SC 1601 within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. iii.
